When I awake the car had been parked at what seemed like a rest stop. It was Yukie's father's office. We take our kicks off before entering. The girls stopped for a cigarette break and began chatting about something I couldn't understand nor could focus on. I stayed standing moving back and forth to keep myself awake. Yukie hands me a glass of water and medicine to pour into it. I down it like a shot glass and look over at Ayako. "what happen?" she tells that they decided to take a break for a few days and that he finally said happy birthday. I ironically think "long distance relationships are a bitch" (I did it for 4 years in two different relationships).
The finish up and we get back in the car and drive for 1 minute to Yukie's home sweet home. Yukie's family home was something out of the Edo period. The hall ways were very thin, the wood on the floor felt like it had a history of samurai's and geishas, there was a sliding door for every room, and there was even a room that had a ritual set up of geisha dolls that are said to bring good luck to a woman's love life (I think that's what they told me). The place however was freezing cause it did not have a heating system and each room had a separate plug in heater. We all went to sleep in what was Yukie's little sister's room. Yukie set up the sheets on to the tatami. Before I laid down Ayako joked and said we were going to be sleeping like the river kanji 川 I laid down still feeling half tipsy and knew my unbalanced feeling would make me the stroke that leans off center 川

I awoke 4 hours later and could see the light from the sun filling the room with life. It was 5 am and the others were out like rocks. I have no idea where I am and have to wait it out until the others awaken. I felt like I was full of energy but in a social prison. I looked outside and I was literally in the middle of no where. I couldn't sleep so I pick out a magazine from Yukie's imouto no zasshi collection. As soon as I pull a magazine off the shelf 5 random items come crashing down. Not a single reaction from any of them. Yeah they were out like Tokyo electricity. I check my phone and find that softbank is just like AT&T. Not only does it carry the iPhone but its signal sucks. Yukie actually has the iPhone and also a phone from the rival company Docomo for all her phone calls. Lol I'm sure the employees at Apple Japan get the question "when is the iPhone coming to docomo?" everyday. I figured skyping with people from the states would kill time but unfortunately there was no wireless.
I eventually had to piss enough liquid to cool down a nuclear plant, so I regrettably woke up Yukie to show me the bathroom. I hadn't met her mom or pops yet and didn't want them to meet me as some random guy searching for the bathroom in there lovely home. Yukie decided to stay awake so me, her, and hikari (a cute little dog that kept farting) watched Japanese programing all morning.
