I got my sexy looking JR Pass, I am headed to Fukuoka, and i have yet to sleep. This very morning it seems like a quarter of the population has the sniffles. So many people walking around with surgery masks on their faces.
Now getting on the Shinkansen was freaking awesome. That thing can fly! Seriously my ears popped a few times as if I was in high altitude cause of the trains speed. It was very accommodating ride maybe because Sundays are not so busy the train had full rows for one person.
I'll tell you one thing that didn't seem to have a shortage of the population. And that was pachinko: google it. Lines were down the block in Shibuya before the place opened.
On the Shinkansen, seeing the rice fields wad mesmerizing and as Bison from the Americanized street fighter would put it "delicious". YouTube that!

One thing I notice alot of areas in Japan lack public wifi. Not even the shinkansen had it. But it did have public phones. That came in handy since I hadn't activated my phone yet.
In no time I had flown by cities such as Nagoya and Kyoto.
Waiting for the Shinkansen arrive in Osaka was interesting cause Japanese people pulled out more cameras than tourist to video the entering Shinkansen. It was awesome cause, I felt like a kid watching a plane land for the first time.
The ride was very long and I had to make a shinkansen switch at Osaka. I knew I was only half way there and thought I had to make another switch at Hakata eki. I must have been exhausted and relieved cause when I asked where was the bullet train to Fukuoka at Hakata eki located, the employee gave me a funny look and said you are in Fukuoka.
(ーー;)Zzzzzzz...
Keep it 元気
